At Allrent you will find 25 passionate rental professionals who, from their location in Almere, are - literally - busy day and night serving customers in the field of IT and AV. Of the 19,000 coding genes that we have in our body, we probably spend 18,999 on quality control, customer relations, increasing expertise and getting all the equipment in order, so that the client is always 100% satisfied.


It almost sounds 'too good to be true'. The opposite is true: Allrent was recently rated with a 10 by 3 different companies, in the process in which they have to assess their suppliers for an ISO standard (for innovation, service and speed of response). To be fair, one of the companies gave a 9.5 on a part of the questionnaire 'because you cannot give a 10 for everything'. The average figure thus came to a 9.9.


“That's great, a confirmation that our reputation has power with what we want to do. I personally think that we are now a 9, ”says Patrick van Herwaarden, branch director at Allrent. “We guarantee that by remaining a service-oriented company. Rental is not a sale with us, it is a service.


The people at Allrent do everything they can to relieve our customers as much as possible of work and worries, among other things by sending a quotation very quickly. “After all, people want an immediate answer, so our credo is that we have to submit the quotation within 15 minutes. can deliver ”. This works because we think along at the beginning of the process and really eliminate all ifs and buts during the work preparation. Our experts look for the right solution with the customer, sometimes this goes against the initial idea of the customer, but they always come up with it in consultation. “We go for the best range (A-quality) and the best result, so that we ourselves are not faced with surprises that could have been avoided. That is why we ask the question behind the question to be able to translate the need into the most suitable IT and Audiovisual solutions. ”


In this sense, Allrent is not only concerned with the logistics rental process, it is also an expert in the field of consultancy, which requires a lot of thinking to close pitfalls and understand needs. “If the customer had not indicated something, while we could have come up with it, that unpleasant experience will stick with him. And it sticks to us, even if we didn't know about it. That is why we go to great lengths in service to prevent that. ”

Rental is a complex process with a focus on attention and insight; for Allrent this is a matter of course, even second nature. Sometimes impossible projects seem to come in, such as the loading and delivery of 300 notebooks when a company recently found a virus on its network. The tent has to keep running, so our people worked from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning to get the customer in question operational again on Saturday. That really gives a kick!


Van Herwaarden: “I have been working here since 1993 and I am still enthusiastic when I talk about our company. I know what we can do and that we play in the Champions League of the rental sector. We are certainly not 'box-pushers' and we do not make it easy for ourselves by supplying double the number of devices with an application 'because half will probably do'. ” No, at Allrent every product passes through the hands of the rental experts before it leaves our warehouse. The ladies and gentlemen of the company test everything in-house, complete any sets, make sure it is clean, and then check it one more time. Even all inputs from the screens are checked again to be sure. “With this we eliminate a lot of 'hassle' for the customer and for us, since now only exceptionally the device turns out to be slightly defective during use. If we didn't do that, you would have four in ten that are not fully functioning. ” When the equipment is returned, everything is checked and erased so that no data from the previous user is left behind.


Projects and assignments are treated with attention, even seen as works of art.
