At Allrent you will find 25 passionate rental professionals who, from their location in Almere, are - literally - busy day and night serving customers in the field of IT and AV. Of the 19,000 coding genes that we have in our body, we probably spend 18,999 on quality control, customer relations, increasing expertise and getting all the equipment in order, so that the client is always 100% satisfied.
It almost sounds 'too good to be true'. The opposite is true: Allrent was recently rated with a 10 by 3 different companies, in the process in which they have to assess their suppliers for an ISO standard (for innovation, service and speed of response). To be fair, one of the companies gave a 9.5 on a part of the questionnaire 'because you cannot give a 10 for everything'. The average figure thus came to a 9.9.

The people at Allrent do everything they can to relieve our customers as much as possible of work and worries, among other things by sending a quotation very quickly. “After all, people want an immediate answer, so our credo is that we have to submit the quotation within 15 minutes. can deliver ”. This works because we think along at the beginning of the process and really eliminate all ifs and buts during the work preparation. Our experts look for the right solution with the customer, sometimes this goes against the initial idea of the customer, but they always come up with it in consultation. “We go for the best range (A-quality) and the best result, so that we ourselves are not faced with surprises that could have been avoided. Sometimes impossible projects seem to come in, such as the loading and delivery of 300 notebooks when a company recently found a virus on its network. The tent has to keep running, so our people worked from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning to get the customer in question operational again on Saturday. That really gives a kick!
Van Herwaarden: “I have been working here since 1993 and I am still enthusiastic when I talk about our company. I know what we can do and that we play in the Champions League of the rental sector. We are certainly not 'box-pushers' and we do not make it easy for ourselves by supplying double the number of devices with an application 'because half will probably do'. ” No, at Allrent every product passes through the hands of the rental experts before it leaves our warehouse. The ladies and gentlemen of the company test everything in-house, complete any sets, make sure it is clean, and then check it one more time. Even all inputs from the screens are checked again to be sure. “With this we eliminate a lot of 'hassle' for the customer and for us, since now only exceptionally the device turns out to be slightly defective during use. If we didn't do that, you would have four in ten that are not fully functioning. ” When the equipment is returned, everything is checked and erased so that no data from the previous user is left behind.

Bij Allrent vind je 25 gepassioneerde verhuurprofessionals die vanuit hun vestiging in Almere – letterlijk – dag en nacht bezig zijn met het bedienen van klanten op het gebied van IT en AV. Van de 19.000 coderende genen die we in ons lichaam hebben, besteden wij er vermoedelijk 18.999 aan kwaliteitsbewaking, klantrelatie, het vergroten van vakkennis en het in orde brengen van alle apparatuur, zodat de opdrachtgever altijd voor de volle 100% tevreden is.
Het klinkt bijna ‘too good to be true’. Het tegendeel is waar: onlangs is Allrent door 3 verschillende bedrijven beoordeeld met een 10, in het proces waarin zij hun leveranciers moeten beoordelen voor een ISO-normering (op onder meer innovatie, service en snelheid van reageren). Eerlijk is eerlijk, een van de bedrijven gaf op een onderdeel in de vragenlijst een 9,5 ‘omdat je niet voor alles een 10 kunt geven’. Het gemiddelde cijfer kwam daarmee op een 9,9.
“Dat is geweldig, een bevestiging dat onze reputatie macht met wat we zelf beogen. Zelf vind ik dat we nu een 9 zijn,” vertelt Patrick van Herwaarden, vestigingsdirecteur bij Allrent. “We borgen dat door een servicegericht bedrijf te blijven. Verhuur is bij ons geen verkoop, het is een dienstverlening.
De mensen bij Allrent doen er alles aan om onze klanten zoveel als mogelijk werk en zorgen uit handen te nemen, onder andere door ontzettend snel een offerte te sturen “Mensen willen tenslotte direct antwoord, dus ons credo is dat we de offerte binnen een kwartier moeten kunnen leveren”. Dat lukt, doordat we vooraan in het proces mee denken, en echt alle mitsen en maren elimineren tijdens de werkvoorbereiding. Onze experts zoeken naar de juiste oplossing met de klant, soms druist dat tegen het initiële idee van de klant in, maar in overleg komen ze daar altijd uit. “We gaan voor het beste assortiment (A-kwaliteit), én het beste resultaat, zodat we ook zelf niet voor verrassingen komen te staan die voorkomen hadden kunnen worden. Om die reden stellen we de vraag achter de vraag om de behoefte goed te kunnen vertalen naar de best passende IT- en Audiovisuele oplossingen.”
In die zin houdt Allrent zich niet alleen bezig met het logistieke verhuurproces, het is daarnaast ook expert op het gebied van consultancy, waarin veel denkwerk aan voorafgaat om valkuilen te dichten en behoeften te doorgronden. “Als de klant iets niet had aangegeven, terwijl wij het wel hadden kunnen bedenken, blijft die nare ervaring bij hem hangen. En die plakt op ons, zelfs als we er geen weet van hadden. Daarom gaan we ver in service, om dat te voorkomen.”
Verhuur is een complex proces met focus op aandacht en inzicht; voor Allrent is dat een vanzelfsprekendheid, een tweede natuur zelfs. De mensen bij Allrent zijn te vangen in een aantal kernwaarden (passie, service en ondernemerschap), die je bij iedereen terugziet: ze gaan écht een stapje harder voor de klant en voor elkaar, we doen wat ze beloven, komen altijd op tijd en hebben een actieve houding om de klant tevreden te stellen.” We hebben het in teamoverleg geregeld over wat er extra is gedaan voor klanten, wat goed ging en wat beter kan. Alles is daarmee gericht op leren en steeds weer beter worden.
Soms lijken er onmogelijke projecten binnen te komen zoals bijvoorbeeld het inspoelen en uitleveren van 300 notebooks toen een onderneming recent een virus op haar netwerk aantrof. De tent moet doordraaien dus onze mensen hebben van vrijdagmiddag tot zaterdag ochtend gewerkt om de klant in kwestie zaterdag weer operationeel te krijgen. Dat geeft echt een kick!
Van Herwaarden: “Ik werk hier al sinds 1993 en ben nog altijd enthousiast als ik over ons bedrijf spreek. Ik weet wat wij kunnen en dat we in de Champions League spelen van de verhuursector. We zijn zeker geen ‘dozenschuivers’ en we maken het onszelf ook niet makkelijk door bij een aanvraag het dubbele aantal apparaten te leveren ‘omdat de helft het dan vast wel doet’.” Nee, bij Allrent gaat elk product, voordat het ons magazijn verlaat, door de handen van de verhuurexperts. De dames en heren van het bedrijf testen alles in huis, maken eventuele sets compleet, zorgen dat het schoon is, en checken het dan nóg een keer. Zelfs alle inputs van de schermen worden voor de zekerheid nog een keer gecontroleerd. “Hiermee elimineren wij heel veel ‘gedoe’ voor de klant én voor ons, aangezien nu maar bij uitzondering het apparaat bij gebruik iets blijkt te mankeren. Als we dat niet zouden doen, heb je er wel vier op de tien die niet volledig functioneren.” Ook bij het retour komen van de apparatuur wordt alles gecontroleerd en gewist zodat er geen data van de vorige gebruiker achter blijft.
Projecten en opdrachten worden met aandacht behandeld, zelfs als kunstwerken gezien. Onze mensen zijn terecht trots op hun werk. “We verstaan de kunst van verhuur en hebben geschikte mensen die het fundament van onze organisatie zijn. We blijven daarop bouwen en zien dat daardoor harmonie is ontstaan. De mensen zijn gedisciplineerd en gemotiveerd. Ze zijn leergiering en hebben de zelfverzekerdheid om de klussen aan te kunnen en flexibel mee te denken met de klant. Het zijn mensen die niet weglopen als het even moeilijk wordt, of als ze een foutje maken. Zowel intern als extern stralen ze trots uit: trots voor het geweldige verhuurvak en het bedrijf waarin ze dat uitoefenen!”
