Bed-Stay provides rest for the volunteers of Red Cross Flanders during the Carnival of Halle.
Carnival in Halle is a huge celebration. Thousands of people in the streets, music, confetti, and a city in a festive mood. But behind the scenes, police officers, firefighters, and volunteers from Red Cross Flanders work day and night to keep that celebration safe. They deserve a good night's rest, just like everyone else.
From March 14 to 17, 2026, Bed-Stay supplied 13 Cube sleeping solutions for the volunteers of Red Cross Flanders, commissioned by the City of Halle. The Cube is a modular sleeping unit that offers privacy, comfort, and warmth. Exactly what you need at an event where space is scarce and flexibility is everything.
Adjust on site
The layout had to be adjusted on-site due to a change of location. The original plan could not be executed as scheduled, but that is precisely when Bed-Stay makes the difference. Thanks to the modular system, adjustments can be made quickly, without tools and without loss of time. Our team adjusted the layout immediately and ensured that everything was ready on time.
Rest after a long shift
The volunteers had their own sleeping quarters with privacy and comfort, right in the middle of a busy event. For people working long shifts to keep a party safe, a good place to recover makes a significant difference. Not only physically, but also mentally. Knowing that a quiet, private spot awaits you after a tough shift changes the way you get through that shift.
Satisfied client, again next year
The City of Halle and Red Cross Flanders were very satisfied with the collaboration and the flexibility Bed-Stay demonstrated during the project. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and the volunteers appreciated having their own space with genuine privacy. They were so satisfied, in fact, that they are already making plans to work with Bed-Stay again next year. That is exactly the kind of feedback we are proud of.

Carnaval in Halle is een groot feest. Duizenden mensen op straat, muziek, confetti en een stad in feeststemming. Maar achter de schermen werken politieagenten, brandweerlieden en vrijwilligers van Rode Kruis Vlaanderen dag en nacht om dat feest veilig te houden. Zij verdienen een goede nachtrust, net als iedereen.
Van 14 tot 17 maart 2026 leverde Bed-Stay 13 Cube-slaapoplossingen voor de vrijwilligers van Rode Kruis Vlaanderen, in opdracht van de Stad Halle. De Cube is een modulaire slaapunit die privacy, comfort en warmte biedt. Precies wat je nodig hebt op een evenement waar ruimte schaars is en flexibiliteit alles bepaalt.
Aanpassen ter plekke
De opstelling moest ter plekke worden aangepast vanwege een locatiewijziging. Het oorspronkelijke plan kon niet worden uitgevoerd zoals gepland, maar dat is precies het moment waarop Bed-Stay het verschil maakt. Dankzij het modulaire systeem zijn aanpassingen snel door te voeren, zonder gereedschap en zonder tijdverlies. Ons team paste de indeling direct aan en zorgde ervoor dat alles op tijd klaarstond.
Rust na een lange dienst
De vrijwilligers hadden hun eigen slaapruimte met privacy en comfort, midden in een druk evenement. Voor mensen die lange diensten draaien om een feest veilig te houden, maakt een goede plek om bij te komen een wezenlijk verschil. Niet alleen lichamelijk, maar ook mentaal. Weten dat er na een zware dienst een rustige, eigen plek op je wacht, verandert de manier waarop je die dienst doorkomt.
Tevreden opdrachtgever, volgend jaar opnieuw
De Stad Halle en Rode Kruis Vlaanderen waren erg tevreden over de samenwerking en de flexibiliteit die Bed-Stay tijdens het project toonde. De feedback was uitgesproken positief, en de vrijwilligers waardeerden het hebben van een eigen ruimte met echte privacy. Zo tevreden zelfs, dat ze al plannen maken om volgend jaar opnieuw met Bed-Stay samen te werken. Dat is precies het soort terugkoppeling waar we trots op zijn.
