The best we've ever worked with...!
As a Conference Producer for 9 years now, I have had many events in various Venues, Hotels, Conference Centers etc...in different cities around Europe, namely Brussels, and I cannot deny that this has been the best experience I have ever had so far!!! Organizing our 1st post-Covid Hybrid Conference at BluePoint Brussels last May 13th was just an incredible satisfaction...:
- Mr. Laurent Coessens, "The Make it Happen Guy" : My experience with Laurent has been perfect from day one; a talented event advisor with a human-centric touch I 've rarely come across. Experience, expertise, communication, patience... to name a few! Thank you Laurent.
- Conference room & hall : for a geeky, techie, nerdy conference , I am convinced we wouldn't have found any better. The setting was just breathtaking and the dedicated space enabled more event enjoyment !
- Technicality : that was the part that really made our conference a unique one. From lighting to AV, and from production to live delivery... the technical team left us all astonished and proud. Without mentioning the streaming capabilities and setup for a delighted online audience.
- Catering : we are all aware how F&B are vital in a full day gathering, quality and quantity were on time and far more importantly, all communicated dietary restrictions were respected to the point = every single meal was sticker-named after the requesting attendee ...
- Staff : professional, organized, cheerful.
# To sum it up, I have ended up assessing that Pre, During & Post conference client treatment at BluePoint is part of their culture, they have succeeded in aligning People, Processes & Technology in a way no other venue has ever done (in my humble opinion). Besides, the fact that they provide a full end-to-end service package (venue, catering, Tech...) can only be a huge addition to respond to today's highly demanding event requirements and pace...Thank you once again, we are coming back for the next conference without any doubt.

Excellent service, support and flexibility
On 1 December 2021 we were finally able to hold our hybrid science-policy Forum. We initially began planning this event for April 2020 but due to COVID the event had to be rescheduled twice. Throughout the whole process, the BluePoint team have been flexible in accommodating changing requirements and allowed us to reschedule as needed. For the event that did eventually take place, they were very helpful in answering all of our questions promptly. We were able to do dry runs at the venue with the technical team and they did everything they could to help us ensure the event ran smoothly. Hosting a hybrid event meant that the event was logistically and technically complex but the team never once told us something was not possible. The day itself ran extremely smoothly and the team did all they could to ensure that it did without adding to our own inevitable event stress. The facilities available at BluePoint are excellent and this ensured that our attendees could have a high quality experience whether they were in the room or online. The excellent catering was a bonus. The venue is a bit outside the centre of Brussels but easily reachable by public transport and with a large underground car park. On Thursday 23/9/21 we organized a scientific training for dentists in Bluepoint Brussels.
The VBT (Vlaamse Beroepsvereniging Tandartsen) has been organizing refresher courses for dentists throughout the Flemish country for 20 years. Currently, preparing an event is not so obvious due to the ever-changing Covid rules. Right from the preparatory conversations and emails, there was good personal contact, a quick reply and the will to find solutions for the specific requirements of further training for dentists.
The day itself everything was ready as agreed on the previous tour. The staff was super friendly and always available. A sound engineer was on hand to guide the speakers and the room staff was not only attentive but also very flexible if the timing needed to be adjusted. Last but not least : the buffet and the closing reception were exceptionally tasty and were appreciated by a rather 'spoiled' public who are dentists.
Highly recommended for your event both indoors and outdoors in the beautiful garden in the heart of Brussels.
