Kalinka is an acoustic ensemble around violinist Pal Szomora. He knows just about all the well-known (and also less well-known) melodies by heart, and he plays them on request.
The musicians move mobile between the audience, the level and quality of the music are high.
Gradually, background music evolves into full ambiance, and yet not too loud because the orchestra usually plays without sound amplification (unless it is really necessary).
Accordion, guitar and double bass accompany. The cymbalom, a beautiful instrument that is mainly used in gypsy music, is also a possibility.
The entire line-up is a quartet - a trio is sufficient for smaller parties - and a duo is also possible.
Gypsy ensemble Kalinka makes music on the occasion of your wedding mass, wedding, birthday party, anniversary, reception, walking dinner, seminar, or any other private party.
All music genres are covered, such as Slavic music, Hungarian csardas, Balkan music, light classical, French chanson, Argentine tango, Flemish or Dutch sing-alongs, gipsy jazz, operetta, evergreens.
Kalinka is also often booked as a stage act at home and abroad, at festivals, as a stage concert or for a theme evening.
The orchestra can be expanded with a violinist, several violinists, or other instruments.

Great music
Kalinka Ensemble really took our party to the next level! The music was great, really enjoyed it. At first discreetly and in the background, but then they played on request, the atmosphere was great.
Exceeded expectations
I found this group by chance via the internet, the contact and appointments went very smoothly, the musicians were on time and played fantastic, it far exceeded my expectations. The violinist feels very good when the music remains in the background, and when it is time to go all out and involve the audience, the atmosphere is full and everyone sings or claps along, a really fun and unique atmosphere.

Nice birthday
We saw Kalinka at work in 't Schipke, there was a lot of atmosphere there, that's why I asked them to come and play on my husband's birthday, and that was a huge success, all guests were full of praise, and so were we, of course, wonderful and honest music full of feeling and passion.

Fantastic violinist
Wonderful how Kalinka accompanied our party, especially the violinist is fantastic, he knows perfectly what to play in every situation, in the background or in the foreground to create ambiance, for every table he played an appropriate song - allowed in 5 years you will come back for sure!😀
Fantastic musicians
I booked them last minute for mood music at a bbq and it was fantastic. They play absolutely anything you ask, and the atmosphere was unforgettable. I especially noticed how the violinist feels perfectly what to do, stay in the background, or go to the people at the right time to create the atmosphere. We also had a Polish guest, and he played a few Polish songs especially for her, which she started singing along. It was beautiful, thank you Kalinka😀

Kalinka Ensemble speelde toevallig enkele dagen geleden op mijn tuinfeest, en hun repertoire is echt enorm uitgebreid, zij speelden zo goed als alle verzoeknummers die wij vroegen, vooral de violist is ongelooflijk, maar de anderen ook natuurlijk, zalig orkestje!
