Homestead Whittington Farm

Homestead Whittington Farm offers a country setting for weddings, receptions and a wide range of private and business events in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Its grounds combine a 3,500-square-foot event centre with outdoor spaces, including a patio and a distinctive lighted live oak used for ceremonies and smaller gatherings. The indoor venue is air-conditioned, making it suitable for events in different seasons, while the lawns and mature trees provide a relaxed outdoor backdrop.

The venue welcomes wedding ceremonies, receptions and rehearsal dinners, as well as corporate meetings, workshops, retreats, holiday celebrations, family reunions, birthdays and anniversary parties. Clubs and other groups can also enquire about using the property, and the grounds are available as a setting for photography sessions. The event centre can accommodate up to 350 guests standing, with seating for up to 150, so organisers can consider different layouts and event formats.

Organisers can personalise the setting to suit their occasion. Practical features include electricity, water, restrooms, an outdoor patio and free on-site parking, with valet or directed parking options noted by the venue. Live music and dancing are welcome, and the property permits alcohol. The farm describes its facilities as family- and pet-friendly, and offers a BBQ and picnic area for suitable gatherings. In-house floral design is also available.
