Kilkenny Barn

Kilkenny Barn is a private event venue in the Cotswolds, set within an 18th-century threshing barn near Bibury. Its rural setting and traditional stonework, exposed beams and high ceilings give organisers a distinctive backdrop for gatherings throughout the year. Underfloor heating, a log burner and atmospheric lighting help make the space comfortable in different seasons.

The barn can be arranged for a range of occasions, including private dining, banquets, drinks parties, children’s parties, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, photo shoots and small weddings. The private dining room can seat up to 80 guests. There is also a bar area, a separate kitchen, cloakroom facilities and three toilets. An upstairs mezzanine provides extra space for seating, viewing or musicians, while tables, chairs and the layout can be arranged to suit each event.

Organisers can hire the venue for an exclusive event and discuss their preferred format with the team. Kilkenny Barn can also help connect clients with local caterers, photographers, florists and entertainers, giving planners options for shaping the occasion without presenting those services as the venue’s core offer. On-site parking, Wi-Fi and an installed music system with surround sound and Sonos add practical support for guests and event production. Located between Bibury and Aldsworth, the barn is around eight miles from Cirencester and Burford, making it a countryside option for private and business gatherings in Gloucestershire.
