Rustic Chic Event Center

Rustic Chic Event Center is a countryside barn venue in West Union, Iowa, available for weddings and a range of private gatherings. Set in a renovated 5,500-square-foot barn, the venue combines original timber character with landscaped outdoor surroundings, offering organisers a relaxed rural setting for celebrations and get-togethers.

Wedding options include ceremonies, receptions and dances, with packages for intimate celebrations as well as larger gatherings. The venue can host indoor ceremonies for up to 200 guests, while reception layouts use the barn's two levels. Couples can also use the property for photographs, and selected décor, ceremony arches, tables, chairs and linens are included in the listed wedding packages. A separate house rental provides the wedding party and family with a place to prepare before the event.

For other occasions, the centre offers shorter hire periods on one or both levels. These spaces suit celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, showers, graduations and family reunions. Organisers can choose a layout and hire duration to suit their gathering, with set-up and clean-up included within the booked time. Bar service is available, and bartending can be requested for special events. Catering is not provided, so organisers can arrange food separately with a caterer of their choice.

The venue also offers private tours and publishes availability calendars, helping event planners explore the spaces and check potential dates. Its flexible indoor and outdoor setting makes it a practical option for couples and local organisers seeking a barn venue for a personal celebration.
