Landgoedboerderij Oosterheerdt offers organisers a rural venue for meetings, courses, training sessions and private parties. The historic farmhouse is located on Landgoed Nienoord in Leek and has several indoor spaces, with the option of incorporating the courtyard, front garden or surrounding farmland into your programme.
De Kantine is a charming farmhouse-style space for groups of around 40 to 60 people, and can be arranged to suit your needs. It has a TV screen, a flip chart and a small kitchen. Food can be provided by arrangement, but guests are also welcome to organise their own catering. Good Old Nel can accommodate around 25 to 35 people. This informally furnished space includes a bar, seating and a few games, making it suitable for a relaxed gathering. For a smaller meeting or session, there is the Tuinkamer, which accommodates groups of up to around 6 to 8 people and overlooks the old trees in the front garden.
Organisers can hire a room for a meeting on its own or put together a programme that takes place both indoors and outdoors. Team activities are also available, including sheep herding with border collies and clog golf. Sheep herding usually lasts one and a half to two hours and focuses on working together, communicating and completing a course as a team. For example, a meeting or training session can be combined with lunch and an activity on the grounds. The farm is happy to discuss the programme and suitable options for groups on request.
The venue also has a bed and breakfast, allowing guests to stay overnight on the estate. This makes Oosterheerdt a practical choice for organisers who want to combine a small-scale gathering with outdoor space, informal activities or an overnight stay at the venue.
