Baanhof is an event venue in the centre of Rotterdam, located in a former RET substation. The industrial building has retained its historic character and offers several spaces that can be used individually or in combination. This allows event planners to tailor the venue to a business meeting, cultural presentation or celebratory occasion.
The Salon is suitable for meetings, workshops, presentations, seminars and dinners, among other events. The space measures 130 m² and has presentation equipment, including a projector, projection screen and sound equipment. The Souterrain has a distinctive industrial look and offers 140 m² for meetings, exhibitions, film screenings, performances and private dinners. Facilities here include a bar, sound system, RGB lighting and projectors.
For an open-air programme, there is a 175 m² courtyard garden that can be used for lunches, dinners, workshops, concerts and presentations. The garden has an outdoor bar, pizza oven and sound system. At 80 m², the Studio is a more intimate space for events such as a product launch, photo shoot, drinks reception or welcome reception. It has a modern kitchen for preparing drinks and snacks.
Baanhof gives organisers space to bring together different parts of a programme in one place. Catering, drinks and any additional requirements can be arranged in consultation. Its central location, close to the Erasmus Bridge and Witte de Withstraat, makes the venue suitable for business and cultural events in Rotterdam.
