Lions Park

Lions Park offers event organisers a flexible outdoor and indoor setting in Carpinteria, California. The grounds combine a cedar lodge with a broad lawn, mature trees, a gazebo and a separate picnic area, giving hosts several ways to shape a gathering. Weddings can use the lawn or gazebo for a ceremony, then move to the lodge for a reception, or make use of the outdoor space for dining and dancing.

The lodge accommodates indoor events for up to 160 guests, while outdoor events can host up to 200. It has a wraparound porch, a bar and a commercial kitchen, and the rental includes tables and chairs. A bridal dressing room is available as an additional option. Organisers can bring their own caterer, use the kitchen for food preparation or ask the Lions Club about its barbecue catering. Bar service and professional bartenders are also available.

The picnic area is suited to more casual gatherings, including company picnics, birthdays, reunions and rehearsal dinners. Its facilities include a barbecue pit, kitchen, built-in picnic tables, children’s play equipment and horseshoe pits, with space for up to 200 guests. Parts of the park or lodge can be reserved, allowing organisers to choose a layout and atmosphere suited to their occasion. Lions Park also provides an availability calendar and can arrange tours for prospective hirers.
