Märchenbühne Gudensberg is a distinctive event venue in the town park of the North Hessian town. Its imaginatively designed open-air stage is ideal for cultural events and other suitable occasions. External organisers can use the site by prior arrangement with the town. It offers clubs, cultural professionals and other organisers an unusual setting for their own programmes.
Outside, there is a large stage with tiered seating for up to 250 spectators. For smaller events, a second stage and an event room are available in the stage building. The venue can therefore be considered for theatre performances and live concerts, as well as cabaret, readings and events organised by schools, nurseries, clubs or associations. Lighting and sound equipment is provided. The town has requirements for its proper operation, which organisers should take into account when planning.
Märchenbühne also offers two options for civil wedding ceremonies: an open-air ceremony on the stage, or a wedding in the distinctive building beneath its pointed roof. The green surroundings of the town park and the striking architecture give the venue its character. The park is also a public meeting place with green spaces and quiet areas.
The venue is made available for events organised by third parties by arrangement with the town of Gudensberg, and may be subject to certain conditions. Fees and organisational requirements apply. Organisers should therefore clarify well in advance which areas, equipment and additional services are available for their event. Whether for a cultural programme, a club event or a wedding ceremony, Märchenbühne combines a distinctive open-air setting with an additional indoor space.
