The Franz-Mehring-Platz 1 conference centre, known as FMP1, offers event planners flexible rooms for hire in Berlin-Friedrichshain. It caters to organisations, businesses and initiatives looking for a suitable venue for meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops or cultural events.

The centre's main feature is a divisible hall with space for up to 200 people. It is complemented by seven seminar rooms, which can accommodate smaller groups or events for up to around 100 participants, depending on the room and seating arrangements. This makes it possible to combine plenary sessions and working groups at one location, as well as to hold individual workshops or smaller meetings. All rooms have natural daylight. Modern conference technology is available for events, and bespoke arrangements can be discussed with the team.

Concerts and open-air events are also among the stated uses. The courtyard, with its boules court, provides a place for breaks and informal conversation. Its location near Ostbahnhof, with links to public transport, makes it easy for guests to travel from across Berlin and further afield.

FMP1 is part of a larger building that houses offices and a network of different organisations. For event planners, the independently rentable conference centre is the main point of interest. Information about the availability of the event rooms can be found online, and the team responsible handles enquiries about meetings, seminars, conferences and events directly.
