Haven Community Building

Haven Community Building is a city-run venue at Pioneer Park in Haven, Kansas, available to rent for parties, family gatherings and other small events. Its straightforward facilities make it a practical choice for organisers looking for an indoor space for a local celebration or get-together.

The building measures 40 by 60 feet and has a stated capacity of up to 125 people. It is equipped with 100 chairs and between 16 and 18 tables, offering a useful starting point for arranging a meal, social gathering or community occasion. The City of Haven handles rental requests, with the City Clerk or a designee reviewing requests, usually within one to two business days. The venue is rented to one person per day, and booking availability can be checked through the city's facility reservation system. The city also lists rental rates that vary depending on whether the renter lives within Haven city limits, along with a refundable key deposit subject to the building being left in suitable condition. Bookings can be made up to six months ahead.

The building sits within Pioneer Park, where visitors can also find a gazebo and playground equipment. Alcohol is not permitted in the Community Building or the park. With its tables, chairs and basic kitchen appliances already on site, the venue offers a useful option for organisers planning a relaxed gathering in the Haven area.
