Anne's Haven

Anne's Haven is a community-focused space in Chicago available for classes, workshops, small gatherings and other events. Its relaxed, home-like setting offers an alternative to a formal function room, with comfortable living-room furniture and a welcoming atmosphere suited to activities built around conversation, learning and connection. Teachers, activity leaders and others whose programmes align with the centre's mission are invited to enquire about hosting their own sessions.

The indoor space accommodates gatherings of up to 30 people, while outdoor space can allow for groups of up to 50 when available. Furnishings include couches, comfortable chairs, bean bags, folding tables and chairs. Hosts can also make use of a large screen and projector, Wi-Fi, a coffee and tea station, and basic kitchen appliances including a toaster oven, microwave and hot plate. A changing table is available too. Anne's Haven says it can help promote programmes and ongoing classes that are open to the community.

The venue is particularly suited to intimate workshops, community meetings, educational activities, support circles and small group events rather than large-scale celebrations or conferences. Alongside space hire, Anne's Haven runs its own community programmes, including peace education and activities supporting women entrepreneurs, with a focus on the healing arts. Organisers can contact the team to discuss a proposed gathering, check the space's availability and confirm which amenities and outdoor facilities will be available for their event.
