Heimat- und Kulturhaus Hellwege

Ahauser Str. 33A, 27367 Hellwege, Germany

Heimat- und Kulturhaus Hellwege, known as HuK for short, is a venue run by the municipality of Hellwege and can be hired for private events. The hall is used for cultural occasions, local events and private celebrations. Anyone wishing to organise their own event can contact the municipal administration about hiring the hall.

HuK is particularly well known as a concert venue. A range of musical events take place on the stage and in the hall, including classical music, jazz, singer-songwriter performances, choir concerts and performances by solo instrumentalists. The venue is also used for activities organised by the municipality and local associations. Examples include harvest festivals, card tournaments and a flea market organised by the kindergarten. Its use is therefore not limited to any one type of event.

The concert hall combines a festive atmosphere with an open, light-filled feel. Large panoramic windows offer views of the surrounding countryside, while a skylight complements the high-ceilinged design. HuK provides event planners with a distinctive setting for their own celebrations, cultural events and association gatherings in a rural location. Details about the hall's capacity, technical equipment, catering or available additional rooms should be requested directly from the municipality.

The municipality of Hellwege states that it does not organise concerts itself. However, interested parties can hire the hall and organise events in their own name. The municipal administration is the relevant contact for hire enquiries.
