The Bridge Yard

The Bridge Yard is a distinctive Oakland venue for organisers planning weddings, corporate functions, fundraisers, receptions, community gatherings, concerts, festivals and trade shows. Set in a restored former streetcar maintenance building beside the waterfront, it combines historic industrial character with flexible space and views across the Bay towards Oakland, San Francisco and the Bay Bridge.

The venue offers around 12,500 square feet of indoor event space, with high ceilings and a largely open layout that can be adapted to suit different event formats. Large doors connect the interior with an outdoor courtyard, where built-in seating, a stage and an elevated viewing deck create additional options for guests and programming. Organisers can use the spaces together or shape the layout around a seated dinner, theatre-style presentation, reception or standing event.

The Bridge Yard's published capacities range from several hundred guests for seated dining to around 800 in theatre seating and more than 2,000 for standing events. Venue hire includes an event stage, chairs and a selection of tables, along with staffing and security based on the event's needs. Wi-Fi is available, and parking is included for a limited number of vehicles. Audio-visual services and additional equipment are arranged separately.
