Marienschacht Bannewitz is an event venue in a historic mining monument south of Dresden. Its distinctive architecture, preserved mining features and views across the Elbe Valley provide a unique setting for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations. Event planners can choose from several rooms and combine the spaces to suit the occasion.

Depending on the seating arrangement, the Maschinenraum is suitable for celebrations with up to 200 people. In good weather, a meadow of around 200 square metres can also be used, for example for a reception or an outdoor celebration. The Hauptschacht offers space for a reception or can be used as a buffet area. Historic installations and original furnishings shape the atmosphere here. Another room is located on the upper floor of the winding tower. It is suitable for workshops and can be used as an alternative location for an outdoor wedding ceremony in bad weather.

The venue is for event planners, couples and businesses looking for a place to hold weddings, corporate and family celebrations, incentive events, roadshows, workshops or seminars. Seating, heating and parking in the courtyard are available. Event technology is provided to suit individual requirements, and catering is available. The rooms are suitable for events throughout the year. festcatering.de handles booking enquiries and the coordination of details. This means that the choice of room, facilities and catering can be discussed to suit each occasion.
