VOF De Vooruitgang

Snekerkade 2, 8911 AA Leeuwarden, Netherlands

De Vooruitgang is a meeting boat that gives organisations a distinctive place for business gatherings on the water. The boat is suitable for meetings, client conversations, brainstorming sessions, workshops, presentations and training. It is also a unique venue for coaching programmes and gatherings with lunch or dinner, away from the usual office environment.
Inside, guests can use a furnished meeting room with comfortable chairs, a large table, wifi, coffee facilities and an interactive screen. There are also two outdoor areas, one of which can be covered. This means participants can step outside during a gathering while the group continues to use the boat as its own private venue. The meeting room is suitable for small groups.
The boat has been fitted out with energy efficiency and sustainability in mind. De Vooruitgang is electrically powered and uses solar energy. It also makes use of organic and local produce. This makes the venue a good fit for organisations that want to combine their gathering with a conscious choice for sustainability.
The boat is moored in Leeuwarden, with the option of agreeing on a suitable location on the Frisian waters. This makes De Vooruitgang suitable for teams looking for a peaceful setting for discussions, development or collaboration. For event planners, it is a compact, characterful venue with the practical facilities needed for a working gathering and an environment that invites you to take a step back from the daily routine.
