The Cothi Bridge Agricultural Society

Cothi Bridge Agricultural Society manages a rural showground in Pontargothi, near Carmarthen, and makes its fields and pavilion available to organisers for third-party events. Set beside the River Cothi and reached from the A40, the site offers a countryside location for gatherings that need outdoor space, with a pavilion for indoor use.

The grounds are also home to the Society's annual agricultural show, a long-running local event featuring livestock, dog and vintage vehicle classes, crafts, cookery, trade stands and food concessions. This experience of preparing a working showground for exhibitors and visitors gives organisers a sense of the site's event use and layout.

The showground may suit organisers planning community gatherings, outdoor displays, fairs and other events that benefit from open land and a rural backdrop. The available space includes showground fields as well as the pavilion, so organisers can discuss which parts of the site best fit their plans. The Society invites enquiries about booking the ground for an event by contacting its secretary.

Cothi Bridge Showground is a practical option for event planners seeking a non-urban setting in Carmarthenshire. As the property is a working agricultural showground, organisers should contact the Society directly to discuss availability, facilities, access and arrangements for their particular event.
