Haus der Begegnung Albachten

Hohe Geist 8, 48163 Münster, Germany

Haus der Begegnung in Münster-Albachten provides event spaces for medium-sized and smaller events. Its centrepiece is a bright hall with a stage, which can be divided into two areas using a mobile partition wall. Depending on the seating arrangement, it can accommodate up to 344 people. There are three more multi-purpose rooms in different sizes for smaller groups or as an addition to the hall. The spacious foyer with a counter is suitable for welcoming and catering for guests.

The rooms can be hired for suitable events on a temporary basis. These include concerts, theatre performances, rehearsals, classes, seminars, exhibitions and events organised by clubs and associations. According to the current usage guidelines, private parties and business events are not currently permitted. Each new use must be agreed with the City of Münster, which owns the building. The association that manages the venue lets out the rooms, but does not act as an event organiser itself.

The facilities include stage and event technology, dimmable lighting, a sound system, a projector with a screen and internet access. An induction loop system supports visitors who use hearing aids. Most of the rooms are on one level and offer step-free access, and there is an accessible toilet. To make a booking or discuss dates, you must contact the venue. Depending on the event format, additional charges may apply for technology, kitchen use, the foyer or cleaning. The venue is aimed at event planners, clubs and organisations looking for suitable spaces in Albachten for their event.
