Confluence Center

Confluence Center is a downtown Missoula venue operated by Headwaters Foundation, offering accessible meeting and event space to Headwaters Foundation grantees and other mission-aligned nonprofit organisations. It is intended for gatherings that support an organisation's charitable work or the wider nonprofit community. Eligible uses include board meetings, retreats, training sessions, workshops, film screenings, fundraisers, conferences and hosted meals. Commercial events, weddings and birthday parties are not accepted.

The centre has two main rooms for different group sizes. The Bitterroot Room seats up to eight and is suited to smaller meetings. The larger Headwaters Room can be arranged for tables, theatre-style seating or a standing reception, with capacity of up to 150. Its movable glass walls can create breakout areas, and the room includes LED screens, refrigerators, counter space and filtered water. Modern audiovisual equipment and configurable furniture support a range of meeting formats.

The building and event spaces are wheelchair accessible, with an elevator, accessible restrooms and all-gender facilities. Organisers can request access to a catering kitchen, bring refreshments or arrange their own caterer. Headwaters Foundation does not charge room hire fees for qualifying 501(c)(3) organisations holding events within their charitable purpose. Some additional services and requirements, such as dedicated AV support, insurance or special cleaning, may involve costs or coordination.

Bookings are subject to eligibility and approval. Organisers can check availability and submit an enquiry through the venue's booking process. The centre is in regular use for nonprofit gatherings and offers a welcoming, practical setting for organisations to meet, share ideas and work together.
