Set among rolling hills near High Rock Lake, Board & Batten offers event planners a countryside venue for weddings and other celebrations in Lexington, North Carolina. Its blend of rustic character and contemporary design gives couples and organisers a flexible setting for a day that can move from ceremony to reception in one place.

The venue can accommodate up to 225 guests indoors, with heating and air conditioning for year-round events. For ceremonies, organisers can choose the outdoor lawn or an indoor setting beside the fireplace. An outdoor patio provides space for guests to mingle, while the bocce court and optional outdoor games offer further ways to enjoy the grounds. The property also has two on-site cottages for overnight stays.

Practical essentials are included, with tables and chairs, place settings and glassware available for event use. A bridal suite offers a place to prepare, and separate quarters are provided for the other members of the wedding party. Board & Batten hosts one event per day, allowing the venue team to focus on the booked occasion. The venue provides its own catering and bar service, while outside suppliers are welcome subject to the venue's requirements. Planners can also ask about wedding planning and coordination support.

With indoor and outdoor ceremony options, dedicated preparation spaces, ample on-site parking and a setting across approximately 60 acres, Board & Batten gives organisers a range of choices for shaping a wedding or celebration. Tours are available by appointment, making it possible to view the spaces and discuss the event before booking.
