The Flagler of Stuart

The Flagler of Stuart is a historic venue in downtown Stuart, Florida, offering indoor rooms and outdoor areas for weddings, private celebrations and community gatherings. Set beside the St Lucie River, the building dates to 1943 and is operated by the nonprofit Stuart Main Street. Bookings also support the organisation's work to preserve a distinctive part of Stuart's history.

Organisers can choose from three individual rooms: the Sunroom, Flagler Room and River Room. The Sunroom has a covered patio, tall sliding doors and a partial river view, with seating for up to 75 guests. The Flagler Room accommodates up to 50 and has a whitewashed fireplace and soft decorative lighting for a more intimate setting. The River Room looks out towards the water and is promoted for wedding receptions and private parties. The venue also has a courtyard, grounds and areas for ceremonies, giving couples and organisers options beyond the indoor rooms.

The spaces are available for weddings, birthday parties, banquets, meetings, seminars, educational events, recitals and other occasions. Event packages are available, and the venue asks prospective clients to enquire with their event type, date and anticipated guest numbers. Organisers can bring their own licensed and insured suppliers, or ask the team for help finding caterers, bar services, photographers, florists and planners. This makes the venue suitable for both intimate gatherings and larger occasions where organisers want a characterful historic setting with riverfront surroundings.
