The Fishermen's Hall

The Fishermen's Hall is a community-run venue in Buckie, available to hire for a wide range of occasions. Its historic hall can host weddings, private celebrations, concerts, meetings, coffee mornings and community gatherings, making it a flexible choice for organisers planning events in the Moray area.

The main hall measures 21 by 14 metres and can be arranged for different formats. It accommodates seated dining, dancing or larger audiences in rows, with capacities varying according to the layout. A smaller Boyd Room is also available for more intimate meetings and activities. Hirers can book kitchen facilities for food preparation, and an induction loop system is available. Wedding packages are offered, with space for up to 180 seated guests.

Bookings are made directly with the hall, and rooms can be hired by the hour, half day or full day. Organisers can ask about availability, hire arrangements and the facilities needed for their event. The venue also has bar facilities for eligible bookings, subject to its terms and licensing requirements.

Managed by the Fishermen's Hall Trust, the building has served the local community since the nineteenth century. Today, it continues to welcome both community groups and private hirers, offering a practical setting for celebrations and gatherings in central Buckie. Its combination of a spacious main hall, smaller room and kitchen gives planners options for events of different sizes and styles.
