Davis Lodge

Davis Lodge is a lakeside venue available to rent for weddings, receptions, reunions, graduation celebrations, business meetings, dinners and other gatherings. Set beside Lake Bloomington near Hudson, Illinois, it combines the character of a rustic log lodge with practical facilities for events throughout the year.

The main room seats around 100 guests, with space for up to 120 depending on the arrangement. Tables and folding chairs are provided, so organisers can plan a seated meal, reception or community gathering without sourcing all the basic furniture themselves. Inside, the lodge has heating and air conditioning, a kitchen with a commercial refrigerator and stove, and two screened rooms. A projection screen is also available on request.

Outside, guests can make use of the patio, picnic tables and covered barbecue grill, with views across the lake. The lawn can be used for wedding ceremonies, giving couples the option of holding an outdoor ceremony before moving indoors for their reception. The building is fully accessible, and wireless internet is available.

Davis Lodge is rented by the day, with reservations handled through the City of Bloomington. Organisers can check the reservation calendar and submit an application for an available date. The venue allows outside food, while alcohol requires prior approval and must be supplied by a properly licensed establishment. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm, and all guests must leave by midnight. Its combination of indoor rooms, screened areas and lakeside outdoor space makes the lodge suitable for both family celebrations and smaller business events.
