Espace culturel Claude Boyer

Square Jean Jaurès, 24450 La Coquille, France

In La Coquille, Espace culturel Claude Boyer is a municipal venue designed to host community, cultural and festive events. Its flexible layout allows the room to be adapted for different uses, from dances and bingo to concerts and cinema screenings. A system of retractable seating, mounted on hydraulic jacks, makes it easy to transform the space to suit the chosen format and audience layout.

This versatility may appeal to organisers looking for a venue for a performance, a group gathering or an event open to the public. The venue is in the heart of the town, on place Jean-Jaurès, right next to the SNCF station. This location makes it easy to reach for participants arriving by train and for local residents.

The venue was inaugurated in 2008 and is one of La Coquille's municipal facilities. Enquiries about availability, hosting arrangements and hire can be sent to the town hall. Hire rates for 2026 had not yet been published on the municipal page consulted. It is therefore best to contact the local authority to find out the current arrangements and check whether the venue is suitable for the planned format.

For event planners, the venue's main advantage is its ability to change its atmosphere and layout to suit the programme: a dance hall can, for example, become a space suited to a film screening or a show. Espace culturel Claude Boyer is a local option for organising events in La Coquille, in the north of Périgord.
