The Cannon Room

The Cannon Room is a bookable event space on the 12th floor of the Capital Club building in downtown Raleigh. Its art deco ballroom-style interior combines historic architectural details with natural light and panoramic views across the city, offering a distinctive setting for business gatherings.

The venue now focuses on corporate and business-related events. Organisers can consider it for networking receptions, company parties, seminars, lunch-and-learn sessions, educational workshops, business launch events and team headshot sessions. The room can accommodate up to 150 guests, with the layout suited to different styles of gathering, from presentations and workshops to informal receptions.

Tables, chairs, soft seating and other ancillary furniture are available at the venue. Organisers may bring their own event suppliers, and catering can be arranged separately. The adjoining bar and lounge provide an additional area for guests to meet and socialise. The building has lift access to the 12th floor and accessible facilities.

The Cannon Room is in the heart of Raleigh, close to downtown hotels, public parking garages and transport options. Event planners can enquire about availability, request a tour and discuss the details of their proposed event directly with the venue team. The space is intended for corporate and business functions, rather than weddings or other personal social celebrations.
