Literaturhaus Villa Clementine is a cultural and events venue in a listed villa in Wiesbaden. It focuses on readings, discussions, workshops and other formats centred on literature. The programme brings together authors, translators, publishers, media professionals and an interested audience. Events that combine literature with music, performance or social issues also find a place here.

Selected rooms are available to hire for event organisers. These include the Roter Salon, the Flämischer Salon and a conference room. The rooms are particularly suited to activities that serve or promote literature. Use for private celebrations such as weddings, birthdays and anniversaries is generally excluded. Anyone looking for a venue should therefore clarify in advance whether the planned format is compatible with the house’s intended use.

The salons provide a historic setting for literary encounters and smaller cultural events. The house is run by the Kulturamt der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden and also accommodates organisations from the literary and press sectors. A café is not open all the time, but accompanies selected events and special dates. For planning, it is advisable to enquire directly about availability, use of the rooms and organisational conditions. Literaturhaus is therefore particularly interesting for organisers whose concept has a clear connection to literature and cultural exchange.
