The New Farm SF

The New Farm SF is a community space in San Francisco's Bayview district that can be used for gatherings and events. Set near Heron's Head Park, it shares its surroundings with local nurseries and urban nature projects, giving the venue a distinctive setting shaped by community, creativity and the environment.

Organisers can enquire about using the space for celebrations, memorials, birthday parties and music performances. The venue also welcomes cultural and educational activities, including concerts, art exhibitions and hands-on environmental programmes. Its work has a particular interest in giving young people opportunities to explore music and creative expression. The New Farm has also hosted larger community occasions, including Earth Day San Francisco.

The space is the main programme of Green City Project, a non-profit organisation, and is run by volunteers. Its approach is community-focused rather than commercial, with events and activities intended to be accessible and welcoming. The setting may suit organisers looking for a less conventional place for a gathering, performance or community-minded programme, rather than a formal hotel or conference venue.

Event organisers and bands can contact The New Farm to discuss using the site. The organisation's public events are presented as free and open to the public, and donations help support the community space. Its combination of cultural activity, environmental education and neighbourhood gathering makes it a distinctive option for events with a strong community focus.
