Festival Hall

Festival Hall is a flexible event venue in downtown Charleston, available to hire for weddings, corporate gatherings, conferences, performances, receptions and a wide range of other occasions. Its central location is close to King Street, hotels and restaurants, making it a practical setting for events that bring guests together in the city.

The venue offers more than 14,000 square feet across a 10,000-square-foot indoor hall and a 4,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard. The main space is pillarless, with high ceilings and movable air walls that allow organisers to divide the room or adapt it to different layouts. Standard floor plans are available for formats such as seated dinners, cocktail receptions, auctions and performances. The venue can accommodate events for up to 1,000 guests.

For productions and events with performers, the building includes six dressing rooms, a theatre grid and catwalk system, backstage areas and a loading dock at the main hall level. The courtyard, lobby and other shared areas are also included in the venue hire, subject to the rental arrangements.

Festival Hall rents its spaces to organisers rather than operating as a caterer or full-service event planner. Audio-visual equipment, catering, furniture, staffing and other event requirements are not included in the basic rental fee. Organisers can, however, consult the venue's list of preferred local partners for catering, bartending, technical production, rentals, planning, decoration, floristry and entertainment.
