Derailed Haunted House

Based in Ramer, Tennessee, Derailed Haunted House operates an indoor, story-led horror attraction built around the fictional legend of Spike. Visitors move through a series of themed scenes designed to create an immersive scare experience, with live characters, atmospheric effects and detailed sets. The attraction is seasonal, with its official 2026 schedule listing Friday and Saturday evenings in October. Tickets are available online, and visitors can choose admission options for the haunted experiences.

Alongside public opening nights, the owners offer the building to groups involved in paranormal research and study. This is a distinctive overnight booking rather than a conventional function room hire. Groups can arrange access to both floors of the former commercial building for an overnight investigation, with restrooms available and food and soft drinks permitted. Participants are asked to follow the property's safety requirements, including signing a release before entry.

This combination makes the site relevant to organisers planning a specialist paranormal investigation or an unusual group experience, as well as to visitors seeking a seasonal haunted attraction. The building is a substantial two-storey property, and its industrial and local-history background informs the setting. Organisers should contact the business directly to confirm availability, arrangements and current terms before planning a visit. The haunted attraction is intended for ticketed visitors, while overnight research access is separately arranged for eligible groups.
