Sons of Norway Kringen Klub

Sons of Norway Kringen Klub offers event organisers a characterful venue in downtown Fargo, with spaces suited to gatherings of different sizes. The lodge invites prospective hosts to enquire about holding an event and can discuss which areas best fit the occasion. Its distinctive Nordic-American setting gives receptions, dinners, parties and community gatherings a welcoming atmosphere shaped by Norwegian heritage.

The venue includes a ballroom, dining room and Troll Lounge, which can be hired individually or together. The lounge stands out for its hand-carved trolls and Norwegian murals, while the dining spaces suit events where guests gather around food. Organisers can ask about catering options and audio-visual support, available at an additional cost. The venue encourages hosts to share their plans through its event enquiry form so the team can discuss requirements and arrangements.

Kringen Klub is also home to the Kringen Kafe, serving Scandinavian-American dishes, soups, pastries and desserts, and to a programme of cultural activities and community events. These traditions contribute to the character of the setting, making it a distinctive choice for organisers seeking a venue with local identity rather than a blank, conventional function room. The lodge has served the Fargo community since 1975 and is located at 722 2nd Avenue North. Event planners can contact the team to discuss availability, room choices, catering and AV needs for their gathering.
