Rosebery Venues

Rosebery Venues offers exclusive-use settings for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events across the Edinburgh and Midlothian area. Its collection brings together historic architecture, countryside surroundings and flexible spaces, giving event planners a choice of atmosphere and scale for their occasion.

Barnbougle Castle, set on the Dalmeny Estate beside the Firth of Forth, provides a distinctive backdrop for weddings, gala dinners, meetings and company gatherings. Its indoor event spaces can host up to 140 seated guests, with larger receptions possible using the surrounding grounds and a hired marquee. The castle is available for exclusive hire, and the events team works with organisers on bespoke arrangements, catering and event-day support.

Rosebery Steading combines converted farm buildings with contemporary interiors and rural grounds. Its two barns can accommodate seated celebrations for up to 100 guests, while on-site accommodation sleeps up to 28. The wider portfolio also includes Rosebery House, a country mansion with a private chapel and gardens, and the Dalmeny Walled Garden, which offers glasshouse and outdoor event settings. Dalmeny House is undergoing renovation and is due to reopen for events in 2028.

The venues suit occasions ranging from intimate gatherings to larger weddings, corporate dinners, retreats and product launches. Organisers can discuss availability, capacities and event requirements with the Rosebery team, which can help shape a tailored booking and connect clients with recommended event suppliers. Catering options and staffing are available at selected venues, with arrangements varying by location.
