Axes and Os

Axes and Os is an axe-throwing and group activity venue in Sterling, Virginia, welcoming organisers planning corporate gatherings, team outings, birthdays and other private celebrations. Groups can book coached axe-throwing sessions at the venue, where staff explain the safety rules and help guests learn how to throw. The centre has 16 targets, alongside pool tables, darts and tabletop games, giving groups several ways to spend time together.

For larger parties and corporate events, organisers can enquire directly about their group, preferred date and event type. A 450-square-foot meeting room is available for networking events and private parties. The venue also offers mobile axe throwing, which can be requested for an event at another location. Advance booking is recommended, particularly for larger groups. The venue sets specific arrangements for large and corporate bookings, including confirming final attendee numbers before the event.

Food and drinks are available on site, including dishes, local beers, wine, cider, seltzers and canned cocktails. This allows organisers to combine the activity with refreshments without arranging all catering separately. Axe-throwing sessions include guidance from a dedicated coach, and the team can help groups get started even if participants are new to the activity.

Axes and Os is suited to organisers looking for an interactive alternative to a conventional meeting or party space. Guests must be at least 10 years old, wear closed-toe shoes and complete a safety waiver. Organisers can contact the business about group bookings, private events or bringing its mobile axe-throwing setup to their venue.
