Deerfields, Ltd.

Set among the wooded hills of Horse Shoe, North Carolina, Deerfields is a private retreat available to organisers planning weddings, festivals and other gatherings. The extensive property borders Pisgah National Forest and combines open land, woodland, two freshwater lakes and spaces for guests to stay and spend time together.

For weddings, Deerfields offers a weekend hire that brings together the outdoor chapel, a covered lakeside pavilion, two cabins and camping areas. The chapel sits beside the woods and can accommodate more than 200 guests. Couples can also choose other locations across the grounds for their ceremony. The pavilion, with views across the lakes, provides a sheltered setting for receptions and can be arranged for dining and dancing. Organisers may bring in their own caterers and drinks.

The cabins provide on-site accommodation for wedding parties and guests, while camping allows larger groups to stay on the property. Lakeside, woodland and open-air areas also give organisers room to plan private celebrations, family gatherings and outdoor events. Deerfields has hosted music events and festivals, and makes the site available for organisers to lease, subject to its limits and suitability for the gathering.

The property offers a distinctive natural setting for events that benefit from a relaxed, multi-day format. Organisers can contact Deerfields to discuss their plans, arrange a tour and check availability.
