The Green Man

The Green Man is a community hub in south-east London, with The Barn available to hire for pre-booked gatherings. Its multipurpose hall and adjoining kitchen offer organisers a practical setting for bringing people together, whether for a community meeting, workshop, group activity or private function. The venue is managed by Phoenix Community Housing and sits within a larger community-focused building.

The Barn's flexible layout gives organisers room to shape the space around their plans. The kitchen provides useful facilities for serving refreshments or supporting catering brought in for an event. The room is on the ground floor, with level access from the entrance, and accessible toilet facilities are available. The building is served by nearby bus routes, and Beckenham Hill is the nearest railway station. There is no dedicated public car park at the venue, so organisers may wish to include travel and parking information in their guest communications.

The space is open for pre-booked events, so it is important to enquire in advance about availability, access arrangements and the facilities needed for a particular booking. Organisers should confirm room setup, timings, kitchen use and any catering or equipment arrangements directly with the venue. With its community setting and adaptable hall, The Green Man offers a straightforward local option for groups seeking an indoor venue in the London Borough of Lewisham.
