Buckhurst Park

Buckhurst Park is a historic country estate in Withyham, East Sussex, available for weddings, corporate gatherings and private functions. The ancestral manor house and its surrounding gardens, lakes, woodland and open parkland give event planners a choice of settings for occasions with different styles and scales.

For corporate bookings, the house has function rooms including the Long Hall and Red Dining Room, while the wider estate can host events such as product launches, seminars, business fairs and team days. The venue team can discuss a tailored arrangement based on the event's requirements. Outdoor space across the estate also offers room for larger gatherings and activities.

Weddings are a particular focus. Couples can hold their reception in a marquee set among the gardens, with several possible locations across the grounds. The nearby parish church is available for couples who wish to have their ceremony there. Buckhurst Park offers exclusive use of its gardens for weddings and provides support from a wedding coordinator. Catering and refreshments can be arranged through recommended suppliers, and couples may discuss using alternatives. Accommodation for guests is available at the nearby Dorset Arms.

The estate also welcomes film and television productions, with a variety of locations for filming. Set close to the Ashdown Forest and within reach of Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead and London, Buckhurst Park gives organisers a distinctive historic setting, indoor function rooms and expansive outdoor grounds in one location.
