Westminster Presbyterian Church

Westminster Presbyterian Church offers a range of event spaces in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, welcoming organisers planning gatherings beyond the congregation. Its historic setting combines with newer, light-filled rooms, so planners can choose a space to suit the style and scale of their occasion.

The largest option, Westminster Hall, can host up to 250 guests for a seated dinner, 300 in rows or 375 for a standing reception. It is suited to conferences, wedding receptions, memorial gatherings and musical performances, with presentation technology and live-streaming available. Other rooms offer alternatives for smaller meetings and events. The Meisel Room accommodates up to 100 at round tables, while the Bushnell Room is designed for meetings and intimate receptions of up to 25. The Garden Room, Recreation Room, Chapel and gallery spaces provide further choices, and outdoor plazas can also be used for gatherings.

Couples can enquire about wedding ceremonies and receptions, while business and community organisers can explore spaces for meetings, conferences, classes and performances. The church has kitchen and catering facilities, presentation technology in selected rooms, and heated underground parking. Rental enquiries are handled by the events team, with a separate coordinator for wedding ceremonies. Organisers should check room availability, permitted uses and arrangements for catering or outside suppliers directly with the venue before booking.

Located on Marquette Avenue, Westminster is accessible from several points in downtown Minneapolis. Its variety of room sizes, from intimate meeting spaces to a large hall and sanctuary, gives event planners options for gatherings with different formats and attendance needs.
