Bearwood Event Barn

Bearwood Event Barn is a countryside venue in Byron, Minnesota, suited to weddings, corporate gatherings and private celebrations. Set on a former farm property near Rochester, it brings together the character of a historic barn and the practical features organisers need for modern events. The original barn dates to 1917, while its renovation and adjoining ballroom provide a comfortable setting for gatherings throughout the year.

The venue offers indoor and outdoor areas across its grounds. Couples can arrange a ceremony outside or use the indoor space as an alternative, with a private bridal suite and a separate groom's room available. For receptions, the barn includes guest seating, tables, a food preparation room and a bar setup. The site also has a patio, an upper-level deck and landscaped grounds that provide additional space for guests and photographs.

Bearwood also welcomes corporate events, parties and other gatherings. Depending on the event, organisers can make use of the venue's projector, screen, microphones, speakers, Wi-Fi and on-site coordinator. The climate-controlled space is accessible, with an elevator, on-site parking and a convenient drop-off area. Outdoor extras include a firepit and lawn games.

Organisers can work with their own caterers and bartenders, subject to the venue's licensing and insurance requirements. Bearwood provides rental information for standard and smaller weddings as well as corporate and other events. Tours are available by arrangement, giving planners a chance to view the spaces and discuss what may suit their occasion.
