Schwarzkaue Eventlocation

Glückauf-Ring 35-37, 45699 Herten, Germany

Die Schwarzkaue Herten offers a versatile event venue on the site of the former Schlägel & Eisen colliery. The character of the former miners' washhouse and the site's industrial history shape its atmosphere. Event planners can enquire about the rooms for private celebrations as well as business and cultural events.
The hall, which covers around 600 square metres, can be reduced to about 200 square metres if required. This makes it suitable for events of different sizes. A permanently installed stage with a backstage area offers space for performances and programmes. The technical equipment includes a sound system with microphones, a lighting system and an LED wall. Underfloor heating is also available.
The event formats on offer include weddings, family celebrations and corporate events. The venue can also be booked for conferences, seminars, training sessions and lectures, if required in conjunction with a company celebration or a programme of activities on the former colliery site. Die Schwarzkaue is also suitable for concerts, theatre, dance and other cultural events. For weddings, the team supports couples with the planning and prepares bespoke offers.
The venue can be accessed by lift. An accessible toilet is also available. Event planners can contact the team to discuss suitable ways to use the venue and a bespoke offer, sharing details of their event and their ideas.
