DEZERNAT#16 in Heidelberg combines the character of a former fire station with versatile spaces for commercial events. The offer is aimed in particular at event planners in the cultural and creative industries. Private parties are not held here. Enquiries should be made at least two weeks before the planned date.

Two foyers are available for larger events. Foyer 1, which covers around 350 square metres, is suitable for conferences, barcamps, trade fairs and exhibitions, among other things. The neighbouring Foyer 2 offers around 150 square metres of space for talks, meetings, workshops and smaller conferences. There is also a seminar room for around 30 people, suitable for working groups and smaller seminars. Depending on the occasion, rooms can be combined and set up with suitable seating and equipment.

The event service supports commercial events with technical equipment, catering and staff. Equipment can include tables, chairs, partition walls, lighting and sound equipment, as well as presentation materials. The scope and cost depend on the specific requirements. It is also possible to enquire about extending the Foyer 1 area into the adjacent Emil-Maier-Park. However, use of the outdoor area is not automatically included in a room booking.

The centre is in Heidelberg's Bergheim district, a few minutes' walk from the main railway station and close to a public transport stop. DEZERNAT#16 therefore provides an accessible setting for workshops, meetings, conferences, exhibitions and other business events. Event planners can share their requirements with the centre management and request a proposal tailored to them.
