The Darkroom Disco

The Darkroom is a private event venue on Main Street in Cornwall, New York, suited to organisers planning a gathering with a close-knit guest list. Set inside a former firehouse, the venue pairs historic brickwork and high ceilings with a welcoming lounge-style layout. It is designed for celebrations where guests can mingle, dine, make speeches and dance in one private setting.

The space is promoted for micro weddings, Sweet 16s, birthdays, anniversaries, showers, surprise parties and graduations. It is also available for corporate events, seminars, photography and videography sessions. Five separate lounge areas give organisers options for arranging conversations or creating distinct parts of an event, while the open dance area provides room for music and dancing. The venue has a private bar, sound system, wireless microphone, adjustable lighting, disco ball, large screen and selfie station.

With space for up to 48 guests, The Darkroom is intended for intimate occasions rather than large-scale functions. The venue offers the space for private hire, and wedding listings describe it as a venue where couples can bring their own caterer and suppliers. Organisers can enquire about booking details and available options directly with the team. Its ground-level entrance and central Cornwall location make it a practical choice for guests attending a small celebration or gathering in the Hudson Valley.
