The Farm at Carter Hill

The Farm at Carter Hill is a countryside wedding and event venue set on 16 acres in Marlborough, Connecticut. Its historic farm buildings and open grounds provide a relaxed setting for ceremonies, receptions and celebrations, with several areas available for couples to shape around their plans.

The property includes an original cattle barn dating back to 1887 and a renovated pavilion with an outdoor patio and bar. Couples can hold an outdoor ceremony among the fields or choose the heated cattle barn for an indoor ceremony and reception. The venue offers exclusive use of the farm for weddings, giving guests room to move between different spaces during the day.

Facilities include a bridal suite called the Hen House and a separate groom's space, the Roost. Ceremony chairs, reception seating, banquet tables and cocktail tables are provided, along with four bar locations across the property. Couples can choose their own caterer or bring in a food truck, as catering is not provided by the venue.

For the reception and evening, the farm has a bandstand, lawn games, a fire pit and an outdoor projector screen.
