Solomon Fowler Mansion

Solomon Fowler Mansion is a historic event venue in Bristol, Indiana, offering organisers a distinctive setting for weddings, private celebrations and corporate gatherings. Built in 1868 and later renovated, the mansion brings period character to the property, while the adjoining event barn offers a more contemporary, rustic space for ceremonies and receptions.

The barn provides nearly 2,000 square feet of indoor event space, with vaulted ceilings and a small kitchen. It can accommodate weddings and gatherings for around 150 guests. A separate garage, styled to complement the mansion, can be used for a reception or cocktail hour. Organisers can also make use of the property's gardens and outdoor areas, creating options for different parts of an event and for photographs.

The venue welcomes more than weddings. Its spaces are available for parties, corporate events, craft circles and other gatherings, with indoor and outdoor areas to suit different occasions. Couples and organisers can hire the venue for a single day, while the historic mansion also offers overnight accommodation. Staying on site can make it easier to enjoy a wedding weekend or a longer visit to Northern Indiana.

With its historic house, event barn and grounds in one location, Solomon Fowler Mansion gives event planners several settings to consider for a celebration. The property combines heritage architecture with practical event space, and the team is currently taking bookings for 2026 and 2027. Organisers can contact the venue directly to discuss their event, accommodation and use of the available spaces.
