Bliss Ridge

Bliss Ridge is a private farm venue in Moretown, Vermont, offering a scenic setting for weddings and other gatherings in the Mad River Valley. The 88-acre property includes open meadows, woodland paths and expansive mountain views, giving organisers several outdoor locations for ceremonies, receptions and photographs.

At the centre of the venue is a restored 19th-century post-and-beam barn. It can host seated celebrations for up to 225 guests and provides an indoor option if the weather changes. The meadow offers a more open-air setting, while the surrounding grounds give guests room to gather and explore. The venue books one event per weekend, allowing couples and their suppliers time to prepare and enjoy a longer celebration.

Two artisan-built treehouses provide on-site accommodation and a private place for the wedding party or close family to stay. Other facilities include an artesian-fed swimming pond, a wood-fired sauna, a cold plunge, garden areas and lawn games. Tables, bars and ceremony furnishings are also available as part of the venue offering.

Bliss Ridge provides licensed bar service, with menus tailored to the couple's preferences. Organic flowers grown on the farm and wedding planning support are available as additional services. Organisers can choose their own caterers and other suppliers, making it possible to plan a celebration with as much outside help or personal involvement as they prefer. The venue is suited to outdoor ceremonies, barn receptions, intimate elopements and full wedding-weekend gatherings, with event timings and amplified music subject to local requirements.
