Kleinkunstbühne Mons-Tabor e.V. is a volunteer-run cultural organisation from the Westerwald. Over several decades, the association has developed its own concert and small-scale performing arts formats and staged them at different venues across the region. Its programme has included world music, folk, cabaret, variety and other small-scale performing arts.

Its well-known series include „Musik in alten Dorfkirchen“, the Westerwälder Kabarettnacht, „Kabarett am Gelbach“, the Varieté im Buchfinkenland and the „Folk & Fools“ festival. For these, the association puts together programmes featuring a range of artists and works with local authorities, village communities or other cultural partners on individual events. Performances do not take place at a venue of its own, but, for example, in halls, churches or a circus tent. Tickets for each event are available in advance.

In 2026, the association will present its final annual programme. Several series will come to an end with their final editions, before the „Folk & Fools“ festival brings proceedings to a close on 14 November 2026. The Kleinkunstbühne is then set to cease its activities. For event planners, the association is therefore relevant primarily as an experienced organiser and producer of public cultural programmes in the region, rather than as a venue available for ongoing bookings.
