The Exchange

The Exchange is a historic event venue in downtown Asheboro, North Carolina, available to hire for weddings, birthday parties, quinceañeras, proms, school events, banquets and corporate gatherings. Its restored brickwork, hardwood floors and skylights give the indoor space a distinctive character, while flexible layouts allow organisers to arrange the room around their event.

The venue provides 3,400 square feet of usable space and can accommodate up to 180 guests. Hire includes tables, white chairs and table linen, with round, rectangular and cocktail tables available for different dining and reception formats. An event planning specialist can help with layout ideas, floor plans and vendor recommendations, and the venue's owner brings experience planning events at the space.

A staging kitchen is available for preparation and serving, with a sink, microwave, refrigerator and freezer. It is not intended for cooking full meals, and outside catering is permitted. Other facilities include a movable bar, a smart TV for presentations or slideshows, accessible entry, Wi-Fi and separate restrooms. The outdoor courtyard offers an additional setting for intimate ceremonies, photographs and smaller gatherings.

Organisers can choose from four-hour, eight-hour or full-day hire, with different rates for weekdays and weekends. The venue also offers hosted alcohol service for events, subject to its requirements. Prospective hirers can arrange a tour or enquire about reserving a date through the booking options on the venue's website.
