Die Pumpe e.V. is a cultural and communications centre in Kiel that also hires out its rooms to event planners. Its facilities are suitable for private celebrations as well as corporate events, conferences, seminars and film events. Organisers can choose from several areas of the venue to suit the occasion, including the hall, Roter Salon, bar, cinema, gallery and seminar rooms.

The 460-square-metre hall can accommodate up to 750 people. It has seating for up to 180 people in a theatre-style layout. Event equipment available includes projectors, sound systems and lighting. Additional technical equipment can be requested by arrangement. The in-house catering team can provide food and drink, and drinks at events are sold by the Die Pumpe team.

The different rooms can accommodate a range of formats, from a private birthday celebration or student party to a seminar, corporate event or film event. During the planning process, organisers can discuss the most suitable space and available services with the venue hire team. Prices are available on request.

As a cultural centre, Die Pumpe also puts on its own programme of music, film and other cultural events. For event planners, the offer suitable for a booking enquiry is the hire of the venue's rooms, with technical equipment and catering support. Its central location in Kiel and choice of different rooms provide flexibility for events of various sizes and styles.
