The Annex

The Annex is a flexible event venue in Minneapolis for organisers planning intimate weddings, private celebrations, team gatherings and creative productions. Its 1,800-square-foot space connects two areas, giving hosts room to shape the layout around their plans. The venue accommodates groups of around 10 to 100, depending on the setup. Organisers can plan ceremonies, receptions, seated dinners, cocktail parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays and engagement celebrations. It also welcomes product launches, pop-ups, planning sessions, workshops, off-sites and photo or video shoots. The team provides a customised layout with each rental, and a venue manager is present during bookings. Additional event support and coordination can be arranged for an extra charge.

Built-in facilities include a catering preparation area, two single-user toilets and an integrated audiovisual system with a projector, screen and zoned speakers. Outside caterers are welcome if they meet the venue's insurance requirements, and supplemental furniture and linen rentals are available. Hosts may bring alcohol for private service, with an insured bartender required. A small rear parking area is generally used for vendors, with additional on-street parking nearby.
